Forming part of the London 2012 Olympic Park venue, the basketball arena is one of the largest temporary venues to ever be used in an Olympic and Paralympic games, and will be dismantled after the games, ready for reuse elsewhere.  The arena boasts an impressive height of 35 metres, and length spanning 115 metres.

Carrying out the internal fit out on behalf of Volkerfitzpatrick, we installed partitions to create the toilet blocks, corridors and VIP access rooms; which were all contained beneath the venue seating frame.  We were also responsible for installing MF ceilings to the new areas, and Metsec infills to the outer walls of the structure.

The works included the refurbishment of an existing building and a newly built extension. The works included plastering, partitioning and suspended ceiling.

Our client had just completed the £40 million base build of the distribution units. We carried out the fit out element which they also secured. This involved partitions, suspended ceilings, screed, plaster and insulation works. This project was carried out on a fast track basis.

Our client was constructing 7 industrial units, sub divided into 18 individual units. We constructed the dividing jumbo walls, using 146 stud. There were five units that had mezzanine floors and offices; again we used 146 stud to create jumbo stud external walls and internal walls from 70mm. All offices had suspended ceilings.

This was part of a major project in Thanet. The packhouse was a large industrial unit with main offices based in it. We installed all partitions, ceilings and plaster. We also carried out the fire protection works.

Within the Dot Com Warehouse we had to construct the offices. They were constructed with 70mm stud; we also installed all suspended ceilings and structual sub grid to enable services and our ceiling to be hung from. This project was carried out on a fast track programme.

Our client was constructing 90 thousand square foot of High Spec Offices. We installed all suspended ceilings and partitions.

This high specification job involved the construction of a performing arts theatre, new classrooms, music studios, dance studios and control rooms. The project was constructed next to the exisiting Grammar School. We installed all partition walls, but the bulk of our work involved acoustic ceilings and sub grids. Due to the nature of the end use the design criteria was high, and our client relied heavily on our knowledge of acoustic systems. We also installed acoustic panels to the walls.
